This service contains the results achieved during the development of the special scientific and technological cooperation agreement No. 185 of 2011, signed with the then Ministry of Environment, Housing and Territorial Development and the Amazon Institute of Scientific Research - SINCHI, whose general objective was to advance the process of environmental zoning and ordering of the Amazon Forest Reserve – RFA, created by Law 2 of 1959, in the departments of Putumayo, Cauca, Nariño and Meta.

In order to obtain the results and the development of all the activities necessary to achieve them, the SINCHI Institute obtained the collaboration and support of the state entities that were part of the operating committee of the aforementioned agreement, these are: Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, IDEAM, National Natural Parks, Corpoamazonia, Corpocauca, Cormacarena and Corponariño.
